Oak Leaf Hydrangea

 Latin name: Hydrangea quercifolia (Alice)

This deciduous shrub has deep green oaklike leaves that turn burgundy red in the Fall.  The large panicles of cream white flowers age to a rosy pink.  The older bark is cinnamon brown and exfoliating.
The plant blooms in late May through July.
